Full-Time Regional Director – Sales & Distribution (BC)
Job Description
We are looking for a Regional Director – Sales & Distribution to join our team.
This role requires regular travel throughout British Columbia – with the majority of time spent in the Greater Vancouver and Fraser Valley area.
Job Description
- This position will be accountable for managing, developing and expanding the partnerships with our current commercial brokerage partners.
- Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help us expand our distribution in BC.
- Develop and achieve specific company objectives and goals.
- Continually improve on a thorough understanding of the insurance market and stay up to date on industry trends and competitive intelligence.
- This position will report to Managing Director, and work closely with other team members.
- Promote and model our culture, values and brand promise – must love fuchsia!
- Other duties as required.
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in the Commercial Lines Insurance Industry.
- Good organizational and planning skills, including great time management.
- Confident in conducting round table meetings with effective presentation skills.
- Focused and goal-oriented.
- Strong professional communication, both written and verbal.
- Strong computer skills including high proficiency with MS office.
Education & Experience
Preference given to applicants with Insurance Industry experience and /or education (CAIB, CIP or other relevant designations).
Salary Range: CAD $110,000-$130,000
*Bonus incentive programs are in place, and a car allowance plus gas reimbursement for company travel are provided in addition to base pay. Compensation is based on experience/qualifications and may vary outside the posted range.
